i dont know how i got in a country mood, but suddenly i am. i've been listening to that good ol' country music, man those guys can play. i bought a slide for my guitar and i thought it would be fairly easy to play with, but i discovered that i suck at it. oh well, its something to screw around with and maybe i'll get it one of these days. i also got a harmonica, so far i can play "piano man" by billy joel, and thats about it. i also have had a trombone sitting in my room for the past few years, that i was gonna learn from a guy at my church... but he moved away. so far the case has been a pretty good towel rack, but i'd like to open it up sometime and learn how to actually play it. so right now i guess i'm on a musical adventure to find skill of some sort in something, cause i've decided that i kind of suck at guitar and i dont see myself getting any better, cause dang i've tried, and its like there's some wall of talent that i can't get past. its like, you must be this good to play --, but i can't get past it! maybe one day something will snap in me and the wall will break down and glorious talent will flow in my veins to my fingers and onto the guitar... a boy can dream right?

ah what the heck, i'm just gonna go with what i know and what i got, give it my best every time! keep on trying! alright Jonathan! YOU GO GET 'EM, TIGER! watch out world, mediocrity is coming at its finest!
