a minor issue

I began prep work on my cartoon today, pencilling and inking the main characters and working out how best to animate them, alas! I have cramp in my right arm and it really hurts now. Its been a long time since I've done so much drawing, or even used a pen for more than a few minutes and I think I may have over done it, slightly. Today has helped me focus and tomorrow it'll be straight back to work with some more prep work and a neater, more detailed storyboard. I'll be taking an hour or so out to go into town to buy some felt tip pens, as I've decided to photoshop sections of my cartoon. The felt tips come into the equation because I can't be bothered with scanning in images, then editing them, so I'm just going to use the colours I want and then match them in photoshop when the time comes. It speeds things up.

I've written out a production schedule for the cartoon that runs up until my operation, so everything should be drawn and ready to be scanned/edited/animated/exported in a video format, scenes cut together, sound effects and dialogue edited in; and that'll all happen in due course, either during or after my recovery as I won't be able to leave the house for two weeks. If it doesn't happen during my recovery, its probably because I'll be working on a stop motion animation instead.

I lead a simple enough life, some animation here, some animation there, a hellauva filming eslewhere and a brash, colourful drama about Brighton lesbians keeps me happy, its helping me deal with a lack of Neighbours (it returns on Monday!!!), O.C and Desperate Housewives; if anyone knows what its like to be deserted by those you love, its me. I'm going to bugger off and get my Sugar Rush before bed. No more cups of tea for me, thank you, otherwise I'll be up all night.

ciao,

P.s. I know it's weird to refer to television shows as 'loved ones' and I know I haven't really been deserted, they're all coming back; but it hurts so bad!
