Okay...so my last post was rather simple...no need to worry though. I was just too tired to make a real post.
But anywayz. :)
Dream Theater was amazing...very few words can even begin to express the amazingness that happened on Friday night. It was...heavenly. L arrived here during the day and we spent some time together, then when it came time for the concert we rushed to el Choliseo where I took a moment to buy a tour shirt (size XXL was all the had left dammit!) then as we arrived at our seats the show started...right on time! 2 sets of amazing music, crazy headbanging, and non stop singing. My throat and body are still trying to recover. It's crazy...but oh so good!
Saturday I had a Choir practice at church which went pretty well...it was all pretty simple too so no biggie. I came home to relax and just lazy about since my week had been pretty hectic. Sunday, church with L, after which I took her to a restaurant up in the mountains of Cayey. A cozy little place called "Jajome Terrace." It was nice sweet and just right ;). Just what the doctor ordered. We spent the day together just enjoying the drive and some time here @ home. Then yesterday Monday she came over after my classes and we hung out til a prayer/worship service at a church her parents go to in Rio Grande. Attending that service was fun and it opened my eyes to quite a few things. I feel good about having gone with her...though at night I was slightly vulnerable cuz of how open I was at that church. Then today L did something I didn't expect...she skipped her classes to spend just a little more time with me. I'm so grateful for her, our day was simple. She let me use her car to go to my classes since my car is dead again, then afterwards we went to get me a ticket for a drum clinic that will be given in Villa Pillo...I mean Villa Music on Tuesday, then we went to plaza and just walked and talked...very "Newlywed" sorta thing. It was bliss! Then we came home, spent a little while in the park behind my house, and she was on her way to Mayaguez.
After spending a little time with my little sis, I called her up and stayed with her on the phone while I adjusted some stuff on my drums. Then we just chit-chatted some more while I wrote up some review stuff for an upcoming test. It was nice to talk to her, we dont usually talk the way I'd like...but today it was just right. It was that flow...that conversational flow that you get sometimes with people. I couldn't have asked for more.
As of now, I'm just typing this up before calling it a night and getting up tomorrow, hoping to God that Frankie remembers that he'll be giving me a ride to school. 11:30 a.m. class so I'm not worried about sleep...I'm just concerned about studying enough for my History of Music test on Thursday! Ahhh!!
Wish me luck 'n pray 'n all that good stuff. Take care and as always God Bless.
L, Thank You. TQM.
