New Shirts, New Music, New Heads...94 points!
So here I am once again, posting shortly after eating here @ home. Had a nice Ribeye steak and rice + beans...my mom's fav...probably cuz it's the easiest thing for her to make and the only thing that tastes good. :P j/k
Went to Plaza yesterday and hung out with Elizabeth and a friend of hers from her school (Artes Plasticas) we saw "Nanny McPhee" which was actually really fun and an artistic/visual spectacle. We also (of course) walked around and got ourselves some goodies. I bought 2 shirts, one from Gravity by the brand "Wildstyle," and the other from Hot Topic. The Wildstyle shirt is basically a graffitti image, colors red, black and white with the shirt itself being black. The other shirt, from Hot Topic, was a "WWJD" shirt. The twist is that the "J" was replaced by a Hockey mask. For those who know some about scary movies...the Hockey mask is Jason's signature mask. So the question is..."What Would Jason Do?" I found it to be in good humor. I'm wearing it to church tomorrow evening! :P
Nikko came over today and gave me a few new episodes of an anime/manga series called "BLEACH." It's a great series, so I'm excited to be getting new chapters to watch and enjoy. Good stuff! Also he gave me a few Dream Theater CD's I hadn't gotten so I can enjoy those more thoroughly now before the concert. 3 DAYS PEOPLE!
Aside from that we hung out and I showed off a little on my drumset with some new EVANS G2 Genera Drum Heads I had ordered. They took longer than expected to get here but it's all good! The set now sounds amazing and I'm more than happy with the fact that with these new heads, we can jump in the studio and get to RECORDING! YES! HA HA HA!!!!!!!!
Aside from that good news with my Theory class...94 on my Theory test!!!!!!!!!! Thank God! I was so worried, but God has really been good to me, I studied up and got through it well with a nice little prayer before the class. So thus far, all is well in my world and I'm just dying to get to Friday!!!!!!!!!!! We all know why...but yes There you go...it's almost time...almost time for DREAM THEATER!!!!!!!!!!
