Updates
So, I have 6 months left to finish my list. For a re-cap, that is:
Not in order:
1. Officially change my name to Jonathan Paul Bard Glasscock. (What is my real name?)
2. Officially set up the Jonathan Bard Entertainments Corporation. This will deal with both event co-ordination and publishing of all media sources.
3. Graduate from CSU East Bay with a Bachelor Degree in English.
4. Earn my single subject teaching credential in English.
5. Begin a 3 year teaching career in California; preferrably in Oakland School District.
6. Begin searching and saving for an Oregon land purchase to be developed and moved into within 5 years.
7. Finish my non-fiction essay collection on freedom of choice and publish.
8. Finish an eleven-song CD with professional quality and sell it and/or submit it to record companies and fans.
9. Finish my fiction novel "The Tower" and publish.
10. Work out the rules and lack of rules needed to develop my own commune on the property owned in Oregon.
11. Clean out all of the remaining friendships and emotions from the clutter of the last decade. (Yes, this will take a while.)
12. Develop new friends. (This includes developing new friendships from the remains of the old ones, if I so choose.)
13. Finish "Book of 5" screenplay, produce, and publish. (A fiction/fantasy series- app. 7 hours)
1. I have the paperwork finished for the name change, but need to turn it in.
2. This will have to wait until late summer, after the name change and some other goals are met.
3. June 16th, cum laude! 3.6GPA total. 3.75 at CSUEB. Not bad.
4. June 23rd I try to find an intern position. All tests are taken. Still waiting on 2 results.
5. This has been revised. With the intern position it will count as part of the 3 years.
6. My landlord has offered a great price on the house I'm in. It looks like investment in the Bay Area is immenent.
7. This needs to be rewritten with the knowledge and techniques I've developed in #3.
8. Done.
9. This is one that I'm looking forward to. Two more weeks and coffee house writing days!
10. I think I might have even invented a new form of government... strange.
11. Done.
12. I need more friends.
13. This hasn't even been started. Why did I put this on my list? Oh, well.
