here is an article about how lame the detroit mayor is and how most of the people in office in detroit are trying to steal every last dime from the town. you and michael once talked about mayor kilpatrick and so i was reminded of you. the article is from some socialist party's website so it ends with a big plug for their candidate, but the beginning seems good. it's about a teachers' strike in detroit.

on a different note, i too find the crocodile hunter's death to be a little wierd. he was such an exaggerated character always trying to entertain people by doing ridiculous things that its hard to imagine something bad happening to him. like a cartoon or a mascot. which is sad, but i honestly think the character he played in that show was kind of a degrading caricature of an aussie "tough-guy," and it made you laugh at him when he got hurt or whatever. it's also wierd because stingrays are usually relatively peaceful.

I like that article. Our mayor took a pay-cut because he was using the city's funds for his own use.

I think I'll be at the wedding. I have to get some more information about it first though.
