in the last two weeks, i have survived finals week and moving.
one of said forementioned activities is enough standing alone
but nooooooooo-oooooooo i had to do it all at the same time.
but!!!
i survived thanks to family and friends and tenacity.
it was a huge undertaking but i lightened my load
both literally and figuratively these past few weeks
and it feels so good.
summer is upon us and the benson has departed for the city of steel.
it is quiet here and i keep thinking he will be walking in soon.
just an adjustment for the empty nest thing, i suppose.
went to coldstone icecream with the kid and the shiverdee's today.
a great ending to a tough quarter.
i would trade nothing for where my life is at this very moment.
