first day of school and my instructor is gorgeous.
other that that i am overwhelmed by anatomy and physiology.

then i drive home from said school (who said school?).
pull in the drive.
turn of the truck to conserve gas that is 8 dollars a gallon.
run in the house to whiz.
gather up the children for a fun filled trip to wal-mart.
hop in the truck.
the truck won't start.
nothing.
damn.
blessings being what they are,
the truck is in the driveway and not on route 4 making me walk home in the dark.
but still.

so we borrow marc's jeep (a blessing)to continue our journey to wal-mart for sustenance and snacks.
then i come home and take kate-the-golden-retriever-wonder-puppy a walk
and she tackles me in the front yard.
(we are talking feet in the air butt hits the ground tackle.)
i am sore already.

friday, i went to good samaritan hospital and applied for a phlebotomy job.
of course, i wanted them to call when i got back to the truck to tell me that i got the job.
(of course, no interview necessary.)
they haven't called yet.
damn.
and i have no way to work tomorrow.
damn.
but maybe i need a day off to catch up on chores and study and have some me time.
that could be a blessing in disguise.
but it also counts against attendance.

the sun, long time missing around these parts,
showed his lovely face today. i think it was 60 degrees or so and felt marvelous.
