Addendum to a post at my running blog
I don't want to get anybody in trouble, so I didn't go into the details at my running blog today in case our class leaders have found it.
However, even though I backed off to the 15 minute pace group today, we totally went the pace I was supposed to be going (14 minutes per mile) according to my Magic Mile. On the other hand, the group that was supposed to be going 14 actually averaged 12 overall today. I'm *really* glad I went with the slower pace group and frankly, I might just stick with this group from here on out. My guess is that I would have waited at the aid station today and dropped back to the slower pace group, but I would have already pushed myself too hard and caused myself some trouble.
Otherwise, I'm still loving the run/walk/run, as I'm sure you can all tell.
Now to watch some tv and spend some quality time with my foot rubz.
