5 miles
we just got back from connecticut. we ran a five mile race today. instead of me pushing tre in the jogger stroller, brett pushed alex and charlie pushed tre. it was a very hilly course. the biggest hills i have ever run. i am not allowed (by the doctors) to run fast but i did okay and felt good the whole race. it was cold though and actually started snowing at one point. that stunk for the kids cause they were in the strollers.
alex ran the kids fun run and "won" a medal. she did really good and finished in the middle of the pack right where she started. she was sad that she only passed one other kid. that cracked me up.
bad part of the day was when we were back at brett's and getting ready to go get something to eat the kids were playing and alex got hurt. she was playing with an elastic band thingy and it flung back into her face. it cut her lip really bad. we ended up going to the ER where she had 4 stitches from a plastic surgeon. we have to return to the local ER in 5 days to have them removed or contact a plastic surgeon here.
