Johnny Carson died yesterday. Kinda sad I suppose. I wasn't really around to see him on air personally but I can appreciate some of the things he's done for late night TV.
In other news, Hubble Telescope has plans of being fitted with equipment that will turn it into Optimus Prime, the laser-wielding, semi-truck transforming badass leader of the Autobots.....well, actually the plans are for rockets to be attatched to it so it can be driven into the sea via a violent maelstrom of fire...(everybody try to use the word maelstrom today...i really don't know whats up with the word of the day thing...)
Does anybody notice the irony of a CD called American Idiot being one of the top selling CDs? I mean, anybody who has the slightest patriotic feelings should be bothered by it. Green Day has gone the way of REM and John Mellencamp...now only old wash-ups will be buying their CDs...I wonder what old people would look like with stereotypical mainstream punk attire...I bet they keep their "American Idiot" shirts next to their phish and deahhead shirts...
