Work Affairs. Prologue.
As our lips left each other, all I could do was smile and say “This is what I’ve been waiting for. This is the reality I wanted.” My voice nearly bellowing amidst the silence, almost echoing. I noticed his lips inching closer and closer to mine again. This time, I pulled back, reluctantly. He placed his hand on the small of my neck. This. This is what I remembered so vividly. Despite how hard I tried to forget. His touch. Oh, how weak I became. Applying the least amount of pressure, I couldn’t resist. He pulled me closer to him. There it was. That warm embrace. His lips gently hugged mine. His tongue - my eyes widened, but my gaze was met with his smile; the one that assured me everything would be okay. He softly shoved me while I, willingly, layed down. I wasn’t even aware of what was happening. It seemed as if everything was a blur. As I layed down, I could feel his fingers trailing up my abdomen, my lower chest, my chest, then finally reaching my collar. My shirt hastily being unbuttoned and slid off.
