2013 Puddle Award for Best Opening Line: Final Round

First off, I’d like to say a big ‘Thank you’ to everyone who entered the competition and/or voted to select the finalists for this year's Meager Puddle of Limelight Award for Best Opening Line
The winners of the opening seven heats went straight through to the final, with the runners-up earning a second chance in heat eight.

Congratulations to these honorable mentions which made it to the last fence, but didn't quite make the final:
