Starting Saturday, July 28th, Monthly Writer talks at Howell Library, NJ

Jul 24, 2012 10:52

Thanks to the kind cooperation of the good folks who work there, I've set up an ongoing monthly series of writing-related events at Howell Public Library (318 Old Tavern Road, Howell, NJ 07731).

Although I host these events under the banner of The Monmouth Writers, we're not a writing group in the typical sense. We don't keep a membership list (though folks are welcome to join our statewide Yahoo group to find a database of NJ writing groups). We don't host critique groups, or writing sessions or anything like that. Instead, in addition to the guest speaker, at our meetings we share information about some of the many, excellent writing groups in New Jersey, where folks can find all of the above and much more.

Meetings take place on the fourth Saturday of the month, 10am - noon, with a Winter break from November to January (incl). Visiting authors will have their books available on the day, should you wish to buy a signed copy afterwards.

Here's a list of the next few Monmouth Writers events booked at Howell Library:
