Dear daughters,

You know I love it when you take an interest in the world around you, which is why I didn't complain last week, when I came back from a phone call to find the two of you scribbling over the printout of my latest manuscript. After all, you'd seen me poring over it, red pen in hand. Why not join in?

The joys of parenthood! While you might not have been smiling through all this, you certainly brought a smile to my face. I admire your ability to keep your sense of humor.

I can't even fathom what the challenges are with keeping things out of their reach. I have a hard enough time with my boys, and they haven't even reached 4 foot tall yet.
