Making Money Writing: NY Times best-selling author, Jonathan Maberry comes to the GSHW
After a gruelling week spent preparing tax returns and on other, non-writerly, activities, I'm very much looking forward to today's GSHW meeting at East Brunswick Library.
The excellent Jonathan Maberry will give a talk on making money from writing (starts 12:00pm).
Quite aside from being a prolific and successful writer, Jon Maberry's one of the most approachable, down-to-earth, wisdomous people you could ever hope to meet. If I ever 'make it' as a writer, I want to be just like him.
The regular GSHW meet starts at 11:00pm. Jon's hour-long presentation starts at noon. Non-members are welcome. If you'd like to come along, we'd love to see you there.
Afterwards, most of us head off to a local diner for a post meeting meal and chinwag, where I shall enjoy a healthy snack consisting of eggs over easy, sausage and french fries.
