Looking forward to this Saturday's
Garden State Horror Writers meeting, featuring my friend, author, writer and editor, Danielle Ackley-McPhail (aka
damcphail), who'll be giving a presentation on the making of an anthology.
Danielle's always fun, so if you're free on Saturday, and can make it to East Brunswick Library (12 Jean Walling Civic Center, East Brunswick, NJ 08816-3529) in time for a noon start, you'll be glad you came.
I haven't seen most of my GSHW friends since the meeting in June, on the day the US played England in the World cup when, as you may recall, England came within a mere nine goals of beating the American team by an incredible ten goals to one. As you might imagine, I'll have some fun, reminding them of their narrow escape from ignomy.
Writing wise, I finished a 1,000-word flash fiction piece yesterday. Not sure I nailed the ending, but it's the first story I've completed that wasn't a drabble in a loooooong time.
Next up, a complete rewrite of Waking up Jack Thunder from first to last page.
How about you?
What are you working on at the moment?
