(no subject)
Last night Rachel and I went out with these four girls from our hostel. We were supposed to meet one of the girls friends who is studying in Dublin, but somehow we never met up with him. instead we just hung out in this local bar and drank....drank a LOT!!! Then we left and went to this pub, where we...drank some more. It was an interesting night, at leadt from what I can't remember. Haha at the pub a bagpipe man came through playing the bagpipes! I am pretty sure that I woke up drunk this morning.
Tonight Rachel and I went to the Hard Rock Cafe for dinner....yes I know, so American of us! Haha but actually there were more Irish people there than there was at the Pub last night. The pub was full of Americans...Rachel and I have began to tell people that we are from Canada! Today we also caught the dart and went to Howth, a fishing village. It was BEAUIFUL!!! Water all around, much more like home! We were going to try and take the bus up up to the summit to have a better view of everyting but we got tierd of waiting so we began to walk. And as one might have guessed the bus rolled past us about 3 minutes into our walk. Shucks oh well...we walked, I think, 3.2 Kilomteres, UPHILL!!! I was a bit tierd by the time we reached the top. We walked around for a while, and just sat and looked the the beauty of it all. It was completely silient, and peaceful, Rachel and I just sat and looked. I wish I could upload my pictures to show you, but I can't. I will later! After walking for aout 2 hours. we caught the bus back down to the dart station. Haha I also got my haircut...and well, it is pretty short, like boy short! So yeah, I will show you pictures of that later too!
