among the myriad reasons that ratings are down this year for the no fun league they should fully consider that they have an exclusive contract with a single carrier, directv, for those that want to choose particular games to watch. i certainly don't have it.
so, like probably most of the displaced lions fans across the country (who left most likely to find the jobs that don't exist there), we could not tune in to the game if we wanted to because the fox network is not airing it (outside of michigan or new york). is not, in fact, airing any game during the 1pm time slot despite having the rights to 3 of them (a practice i've never understood nor been interested in taking the time to learn the underlying idiocy for). this despite the fact the lions are leading their division at 9-4 and are facing the football giants of new york who, also at 9-4, are very much in the playoff hunt.
