hockey weather
incredibly dismaying to see more of this april snow and have temperatures dip below freezing. but i took some solace in the extraordinarily rare occurrence of a spring evening on which i could comfortably wear my pittsburgh pirates ugly christmas sweater while at the same time the pirates upon it were playing baseball in the same city (i almost never wear sweaters, but certainly not when there's no snow or blue thermometer). comfortable for me, not necessarily for others -- it's not easy on the eyes.
