today was whitsunday for the eastern church, and so, having missed the day for the western church, and having been pointed to larkin's 'the whitsun weddings' by grashupfer, we dined al fresco and drank a whitsun ale from local brewery arcadia, and recited the larkin along with the traherne, ashbery, and suckling this literary blog paired.
