the other guys
i should say, before tonight's game starts, that i'd rather play against san francisco. as i've said before, i was in that city the night two years ago when they won it all, and then i had a chance to visit again this year. if i had to choose a national league city i'd want to see celebrate (other than pittsburgh, who hasn't had a winning season in twenty years, since jim leyland got them a few). it doesn't seem likely, but who knows. there's fog here downtown tonight, maybe that's a good omen?
