So Ponyo is being released in the states in August- and they made a shiny new trailer--
go see
oooh- look at all those famous people- Matt Damon, Tina Fey, Cloris Leachman! I'm curious how they'll do. Seems unnecessary, but whatever.
Also- almost completely absent from the trailer is the SONG-- PONYO PONYO PONYO
(the guys in tuxedos seem WAY too overdressed)
anyway- they make the new trailer look really exciting. I hope you can go see it.
Otherwise- I'm T-minus 7 days until I'm back in the states. Kind of a strange feeling. Had my last Japanese lesson today. After we finished the last book I was doing, we just spent a couple of weeks talking about various Japanese artists. Not that my japanese teachers are particularly knowledgeable about the art, but they have access to a LOT more information (because they can read the language). Today we finished up with the Kano and Soga schools of painting.
otherwise, I'm having a good time- lots to do, and not much time to do it in.
