neko bus

so i was driving along c5 this morning and what do i see? a purple smart car being towed. yikes.

but i really thought the smart car was cool.

so i searched (again) for small cars.

what is kawaii?

aaaaaaaaack!

i remember this character-- the Neko Bus-- from the Japanese cartoon my neighbor totoro (tonari no totoro). and if you look closely, you see totoro's (forest spirits) inside (carseat covers). it's so kawaii, i wanna tear my ears off my head! (lol!)

that's satsuki and totoro waiting for the bus. nice leaf hat, it really keeps the totoro dry. hihi.

instead of a bus, the neko bus arrives!

i remember watching totoro over and over when i was younger. (we had a copy on laser disk
:}) it was japanese, but the whole movie hardly had any dialogue (at least between satsuki, her sister and totoro). the kids and totoro just understood each other, and we as kids understood what was going on pretty well.

anyway, it was ssssoo wrong for me to google 'neko bus'. because i found stuff like this:
