airports are WAY depressing
if you ever feel like you're just too damn happy for your own good and just can't handle it anymore, just go to an airport terminal, grab a table and a cup of coffee, and just sit and watch the people getting off the plane and running into the arms of the person they love. there are two requirements for this however. 1)you just be single, otherwise it won't affect you and 2) it can only be with couples. sure families will do the meet+hug thing but the full effect is only with couples.
ok, explanation time. leah from down the halls bf was coming to visit for the weekend so lauren and i went with her to the airport to meet him. we went and sat in the cheesecake factory area set up near the terminal exit and sat down waiting for him to come. leah's all excited, she's shaking cuz she gets to see her boyfriend for the first time in nearly 2 months. while waiting, i people watched, cuz you know, it's fun. so we were watching all these people coming off the plane and the others waiting for their person to come off. every once in a while, a girl would run up to a guy, sometimes he'd catch her in his arms and twirl her around (very movie-esque) and they'd kiss and all smiles. others would just drop their belongings and just hug and kiss. then when leah's bf came she jumped up and ran to him like nothing else mattered. well i guess it's obvious where i stand on this. yeah, i'm definitely jealous. and then my roommate john's girlfriend came in for the weekend too. same deal. then we all went out to dinner: the two happy couples, me, lauren, aj, and chabot, the latter 4 of us are all single.
alright, so john and his gf left earlier than the rest of us and came back here. when chabot and i got back there was the standard "sex-ile" code on the door. and now they're all after-glowy and shit. they obviously love each other, its obvious by just being around them. yeah, definitely jealous. not the sex part as you would know by reading my last entry, but definitely jealous.
