monthly update
well, the band has started practicing again. had our first gig at galaxy the other night which, besided being a complete and total asswhipping, sounded pretty good. i hate that place with all ultimate passionate passions. it has to be the worst club in dallas. i've played there countless times and there's one consistent thing about it. i can never hear myself play. i don't know if it's shitty monitors, shitty acoustics, or both or who fucking cares...it's like typing a term paper blind-folded and every typo counts ten points against you. YEAH! lindsey recorded the thing onto mini-disc and despite ourselves we actually sound tighter than we ever have. so that's cool and stuff.
oh and our friend is having us perform the score to his counrty western-ish play. it sounds fun in theory, but we shall see. at least the job didn't go to those slick five seven boys. <---buncho bitches...i kid, i kid.
lindsey moved into her new totally sweet apartment. it's down in rockstar central, with wooden floors, lot's of spaciousness, lot's of white-walledness, and basically i am moving in.
karate is still good-times. i was kicked in the solarplexus (sp?) like way hard the other day because apparently you're stomache is supposed to be in constent flex mode. mine wasn't, so of course i doubled over in pain. lesson well learned. my stomache muscles are know on constant level orange. constant readiness is required for all true ninjas.
anything else? ummmm..i just ordered a new hard-drive for the g4 at work. after 2 days of trouble shooting i finally gave up. fuck that computer.
