I'm grateful for roses. There is a rose bush outside the window right now. I look over and see some wilted, some blooming and radiant. And every one of them is beautiful.
I'm grateful for the rain. Water intermittently showers down from the sky. It doesn't hurt, it lands gently. It can be gathered. If it isn't gathered, it nourishes plants and softens the land. It gathers into rivers and sustains lakes and agriculture. And it sounds wonderful when you're cozy indoors.
I'm grateful for the taste of sugar. Sure, it's perhaps a little too good. But it's so good! So good that I have to be careful to preserve my health. But it's good when it's available. It's nice to have pleasant feelings like that.
gratitude
