i think kennedy was a great president. in reality probably much MUCH better than g.w.h. bush. and you know why he was so good. because he wasn't actually a fucking democrat. he was a dirty selfish filthy rich irish. his liberalism was just a facade to achieve the presidency. fdr was a fucking vegetable. his wife and staff did everything. so if you think he was so great... (i'm not saying you do. i'm just saying in response to listing him.) thank you mrs.rooselvelt. lincoln. yeah cool. whatever. and if you want to look at this from a modern day democrat's standpoint, then fuck lincoln. the emancipation proclamation did absolutely nothing. or at least that's the liberal way of viewing it... why? well obviously it didn't do enough to matter because all the blacks were still treated like shit and all the white men still lynched them and beat them and mocked them and treated them to the likes of a sub-human-being. and selling weapons... yeah.. well maybe if all of the democrats stopped bitching about having to pay taxes and the government taking all their money then the government wouldn't have to sell all our surplus to countries that we are allied, or at least under civil terms with at that time. does anyone honestly believe we sold weapons to them knowing they were gonna come back and do everything they did to us.... and we didn't sell anything to our direct enemies because they were not our enemies at that time, or at least the lesser or two... the thing with the emancipation proclamation example. and the same with the weapons selling example... it's such a bullshit democrat view of things... we sell the weapons "ohhh.... we are helping the war and killing and contributing to the mass destruction of a society we have no sovereignty over... and the killing of hundreds of thousands." ok. we are the bad guys... but if we didn't give them the weapons the same people bitching we gave them to them, i would swear on my life and the lives of my family and friends that they would be bitching today that us NOT giving them weapons caused everything going no today because "ohhhh.... what should we expect them to do? they needed us in their time of turmoil to give them aid (weapons) and we didnt so we had it coming right to us." fuck that. it's horseshit. i love you too man.

i know i never really read your livejournal or anything, but i just did today and that quote sparked my interest. i respect you for your obvious conservative beliefs, however i am pretty sure that it's the liberals who want more taxes so that they can have their social programs, and the conservatives who want less taxation. i might be wrong, but if i am not that argument kinda illegitimatizes your defense of the weapon selling. like jesse, i don't wanna start shit, just to play a little devil's advocate. add me if you want.
