Maximae propositiones
Some underlying principles by which I live my life I have found recently not necessarily to be shared by some. This caused me to re-identify them and realise that they can be reduced to pithy sayings. Read, and know me:
Talk minus action equals zero. Bitch.
If you cannot prove it, it's not a fact.
Any amount of deception is still deception.
Every concept, action, or principle has a spectrum of magnitude. Absolutes are never reached.
If a line of communication is not adding or constructing anything, it is less than useless.
These all have far-reaching consequences. And of course I'm not claiming that I follow them perfectly. In fact, such a thing would violate the second to last maxim. But I found recently by disagreeing with someone that I couldn't at all understand how they managed to disagree with me. What in their world view could make them say what they said? The answer turned out to be that they did not believe in the first maxim.
Anyhoo, I decided to write these, just to record where my head is at presently.
