Survivor blues

So I survived the end of Sunnydale. I wasn't sure I was going to there for a while. Things weren't exactly the best of conditions in the end, and Warren got torn up pretty bad. But in the end, most of us pulled through. So here we are in the middle of the country- Kansas City Missouri, to be exact- starting to set up a new headquarters. What's in Kansas City? Not too much in the way of vampires and demons, which is what makes it an idea dispatch station for our slayer teams. We're going to sort of be the Charlie station, with the slayer groups being the Angel teams. Sort of nifty, you know? I never thought I'd be a part of something this big. It's almost like we're starting our own Watcher's Council... except don't tell the Watchers that, because they'll get really really pissy. They're already not that happy about the fact that Margaret's 'Watcher' is Adam, and he's a Department Six US government guy. So yeah.. we're not trying to stir up any more trouble with them. Mr. Bothwell seems to do a good job keeping them off our backs, which is good.

I'm just helping out where I can with the warding and the technical aspects of stuff. I'm not as technophile as Warren, but I do well enough with the helping. Plus, Becca and I have been checking out the city, which is also a pretty cool kind of thing to do. Don't tell Andrew this, but I kind of miss him, though. He's on tour with Never Cry Wolf, doing the whole merchandise-selling gig. We probably won't hang all summer. That's kind of a bummer.
