It isn't breaking and entering if the doors open before you're within five feet, is it?

Jonathan was on a mission. He'd made certain--triple checking, even--that Rayner was in his lab before he even considered going through with this plan. He could get into a lot of trouble for this, and not just because of the obvious reasons. If Rayner was in with Ba'al, then this could get deadly.

But he'd promised Danny and he'd never been able to deny the man anything.

One last look around to make sure no one could see him then another check with the LSD in his hands to be sure. No one around. Good. He walked up to the door of Rayner's quarters and touched the door. \\This is a matter of security, please let me in. The one who lives here has designs against your children. Please.\\ He wasn't expecting it to work, not really, but it does and Jonny stands there in shock for a moment before darting in.

He takes a moment to let his eyes adjust then gets to work. He ignores everything except the transmitter. He knows what he's looking for and has an idea where it'd be. It takes him all of five minutes to find it and he hopes he put everything back perfect as he leaves. \\Thank you.\\

He's back in his quarters with the door locked and comm set for privacy mode before he peeks at the transmitter. It doesn't appear to be broken, but you never know. He can't do anything at the moment, so he hides it away then leaves his quarters to return to work.

transmitter, sneaking, steven rayner
