Drivers + Rain = Morons

My normal ten-minute commute yesterday took twenty minutes. Not a happy camper.

I have no pity for you. I drive 45 minutes to work. And on Tuesdays, I drive to Columbus, so that's 1 hour and 15 minutes bro.

Yes, but when it rains, does it take you an hour and a half? That's my point.

Not the commute time, but that fact that rain on the road turns people into idiots.

Yes, I've had my moments where I've shrieked, "It's not snow, people!!!1!".

Yeah, I live 14 miles from my office and it routinely takes 30-40 minutes. Suck it up pal.

Just think, you could have used that extra time while you were stuck in traffic to call Cingular and get them to fix your phone problem.

You seem more upset about the time on my voice mail than I do.

I'm going to sign you up for a LiveJournal account. You don't have to use it, but this whole "anonymous" thing is getting to me.

Dude, don't EVER move to LA.

My old commute was 35 miles each way - and when it rained, it took over 2.5 HOURS each way. I would have KILLED to have a 20 minute commute. I would have killed to have a one HOUR commute!

Yeah, I hear LA drivers go completely crazy in the rain and revert to kindergarteners. At least, that's what Jim Rome tells me.

This is a nationwide problem, this issue of drivers forgetting how to drive the minute precipitation hits the roads. It happens all the time in Minnesota, and sometimes even when the roads are dry. :-P
