ponyneeeess
yesterday i went to go see a pony that i am verrrrry interested in :’)
he was called rufus, 14.2, welsh section c.. chestnut with a flaxen mane & tail. basically, gorgeous.
i just wish he could become fully mine, because if he was for sale, i would have seriously just said YES YES YES (that’s meant to be in capitals) yesterday, without giving it a second thought, for he was so amazing. but he nearly will be all mine. nearly. :D
the weather looks pretty nice right now, which i am super happy about.. i so badly want the weather to go back to what it was in april l:
anyway, i must talk at length about this pony.. if you don’t like it, i have a solution. alt & f4 (:well i already said he was super-gorgeous and i rode him and it was all good, he is probably like the most responsive pony ever. noooooot like riding school ponies at all, but then i suppose blue was like that. God help you if you ever carried a stick with him, omg. you’d be dead in like 5 minutes :Pbut rufus was really nice to ride, i almost never get to ride indoors, so it was nice to have the indoor school. i sort of have him on trial for this week and im going up tuesday to see him again, and then i will probably make my final decision after then.
the only thing was; his canter. it felt all wrong, and when i got off my mum was like ‘his canter was all unbalanced and disunited’ :l :/ maybe that was just because the transition was bad? idk. all penny (the owner) said was that he can feel like hes going really fast into canter, which he did, and i thought nothing of it really but i couldnt sit to it, and then my mum said that. l:
maybe they just dont do alot of canter work with him and hes like, all unbalanced because of that? he goes into canter fine though, just a bit fast so maybe he doesnt like it thats why he was going so fast, to get it over with, which in turn made him all disunited? but then come to think of it, they’d just got him in from the field and he was being a bit slow ‘coz he was full of grass, maybe he was just being lazy & cba.ill probably just have to work on it and see how it goes, it’s probably that they havent cantered him alot like in the school or dont proper school work like that with him, bc when penny rode him before me she didnt canter on him. hmm.anyway he is gorgeous and he was a star when i was there, didnt put a hoof out of line (‘:apparently he doesnt really like hacking on his own but i dont think id be comfortable with that anyway, itd be boring lol, so id take someone /go with me anyway; there’s loads of people on the yard :)+ also he likes jumping! i cant actually wait when i get more confident on him to get in that jumping paddock thing (its actually amazing!!) and jump some of those jumps. (: i seriously need some good videos for youtube, haha.
