(no subject)
i've been watching the san diego zoo's panda cam lately and it's AMAZING! there's a little baby panda cub and her mommy was just nursing/cuddling with her and then the mom left and the baby is trying to crawl around, but it's not very good at crawling yet. SO CUTE!
went to MIT yesterday with amanda and jenny to see jesse play and they upset MIT (the number one seed! undefeated in conference play for the season.), beating them in an impressive three games. well done. then we went to eat at this random restaurant in cambridge (i parallel parked) and it was totally the restaurant the MIT team was eating at. this one girl said "i'm just so shocked. it's like my puppy died." that was an interesting comparison, i thought. overall, it was a good time. they had lots of fans, and there were maybe 8 smith fans, so we were severely outnumbered and they gave us weird looks all the time.
i've figured out my schedule for next semester. it looks like i'll be taking three lab classes. ahhhhhhhhh! but i thought about it, and there has to be a semester where i take 3, and this next semester seems to be best. it's going to be flipping hard. i'm taking physics at umass, so it shouldn't be as hard at smith and rumor has it that in addition to the lab only being a paltry 1 hr 50 min, it only meets every other week. i will live. i will live.
the buckeyes are playing illinois. go bucks! my brother is going to transfer to ohio state in january, so at least we'll finally have a buckeye in the family.
