So they did not need me for jury duty. I did not have to report in. I'm very glad about that. I tried to get a penpal via email but I think that fell through. I'm very lonely. I just want somebody to connect with and be able to talk to. But I don't want pity. I got bored reading today so I made an apple-pear crisp. It's bubbling on my stove now and will soon be in my tummy as well. Work is about the best personal thing going on now. I can't believe how books are letting me down now. I pick one up and blah happens. Only Rebus can help and I'm running out of his books. I'm hoping he and Siobhan get together. They'd make a good team in and out of work.
