The Union Jack is 400 years old this week, and there is a 'rebranding' exercise being vaunted to bring it up to date. This campaign, dubbed 'ReFlag' is being spearheaded by Nigel Turner, who appears to want to turn this national icon into some sort of neo-nazi symbol. I know this is not his intention, but the 'Union Black' does look like it should be flying over a U-Boat. Read the BBC News article here. I love my country, I love the flag and I am not a racist.
