Church camp is coming and i am looking forward to the time spent in services, as well as time spent with my parents.
Unknowingly, i have started accumulating things to do in this coming church camp.
I am going to become the bus captain of Ang Mo Kio bus! The experience as assistant bus captain the last camp is going to help. I was joking with RS that becoming bus captain is a sign of me achieving the 'uncle' status liao. LOL. Used to think church camp bus captains are done by the senior male adults in our church only. I am growing old....
I am also going to be doing Media for some of the services. Hope i remember what i used to do since i have left Multimedia ministry for quite a while. Many hands make work light. LOL.
And i heard the Young Adults are helping with the youth programme. Now, i have no issues with the above-mentioned task, i certainly have issues with the last one. I am looking forward to spend time with my parents during the breaks between the programme and i am certainly staying out of the last task. Afterall, it is a family camp! But it is all hearsay and so doesn't amount to much things to think about.
Last church camp as a single before promoting to the married status! I have the honor of rooming with my cousin, Kirk. Something which i will remember for a long time to come i guess :)
Not an easy camp to be attending. I had to make a new passport as my old passport as expired. I have to also settle administrative issues as well as make adjustments for my other appointments. Busy holiday and many sacrifices made to attend activities after activities and serving in all of them. However, it is a joy to serve my Master and my Lord. I am learning how to cope, to find grace and strength to serve. No sitting out and doing nothing while i still have a single breath to serve God!
