I'm not sure I can do this
While I'm writing this, I'm smoking what might be my last cigarette. Ever.
I went to my regular check up on Friday. The extensive one, where they check for any kind of relapse with the ulcer I had. Yeah, fun kind of exams I had to go through.
Apparently, there's a minor infection of my stomach - which is what could lead to another ulcer. It's not worrying, we caught it early, I'm taking lovely antibiotics... but they strongly adviced me to stop smoking.
If I seem cranky in the next weeks, or kind of... well, more weird than usual - then the "quit smoking" project is still going on.
Right now, I'm not sure how to get through the next 12 hours. Just a few hours without a cigarette gets me all shaky.
