Good end to the weekend...
OK... It's been a dogs age since I last wrote on this thing. So where do I begin to get back into the swing of things. How bout I just try and concentrate on today since nothing bad really happened.
Ass woke up around 9:30 after going to bed at 3:45. Had some drinks with a battle buddy last night. (This guy definately has it rough). Woke up and the kid was itching to go to the beach. So we grabed what shit we could on the fly and hauled our asses out to 17th street A1A. It was fucking beautiful. Not that many people around at first and we got a great spot on the sand. Got there around 10:30 and didn't leave till 4. By then the place was packed, and we left just as the rain clouds set it. Had a great bite to eat, had a couple of drinks, met some cool people. All in all had a great time. Definately something that we're gonna do for next weekend.
Oh yeah. Got a call from megan saying that she and terin wanted me to go and register for some all access pass to the summer splash thing going on tuesday. I should get around 10 kudo points for that, cause of course I did it. No big deal right.
After we left the beach came back to joyces and chilled for a little bit. Caught some zzz's.
Then My father, the kid, and me went to see star wars. That was the second time for me. I'll be honest that I really liked the movie but I just wasn't feeling it this time. Except for the fight scenes of course. My father and the kid weren't feeling it though. We all Agree that Yoda was the best actor, lol. As we were leaving I get a call from my friend Gorm saying that he and all his friends that saw the movie opening night (which was about 40) and some more people were going to see it again. I could only laugh and tell him that I had just watched it but that we would chill another time.
So now I'm just chilling waiting for an old high school friend to call me back so we can go grab some coffee. Not everyday that my DSOA posse is in town.
Aight, gonna jet but peace out to my spade homies and all the other biatches out there.
