Oh, what a night!
I write to you today through the groggy eyes of someone living life on very little sleep.....let me begin last night's saga with a nod to the weather today....a tad chilly, but over all splendid and really the only reason why I'm awake...the sun coming through the window made sleeping in difficult because I feel that urge to be up and enjoying the day...I'm kind've in the mood to take pictures so I'm going to charge up the camera battery and see if there is something out there waiting for my attention..wish me luck....anyway...back to last night...Amanda, Ulysses ("J"), my sister, and I were going to the car show downtown at the TWA Dome/America's Center...we took the Metro Link down which was fine, but J showed up drunk so that was an event...none of us were suprised, but it still made handling things on the train interesting when he'd want to get rowdy or be complaining that he wanted another beer...but we're used to him...so that's still fine, and sadly dare I say normal....so we're on the train and we get to the stop at which we need to get off the train....it's POURING down rain outside so we walk about a block in the rain to get to the door and go in...the car show was actually really fun and man were there some sweet cars....

so anyway...the cars were pretty cool really....and then we were going back to work to drop J off and get Kevin because we were going to Denny's but J wasn't going...so we get back and go to Dennys and we sat there talking until after 1:30 am....so we leave and Angela, Amanda, and I were going back to Amanda's to play cards for a while...we went to Shop n Save to get some snacks first at which point Amanda realized she didn't have her wallet...so she assumes she left it at home (she had cash in her pocket to pay for everything throughout the night so she didn't notice if she had it at all throughout the evening)...well we get to the house and she can't find it so she's having a minor freak out at this point...she calls Denny's and they say that two guys brought it in from the parking lot....so we drive all the way back out to Denny's with her sure that everything is gone from the wallet...we get out there and by some miracle nothing is missing....even the cash is still there...everything is soaked but it's all still there...so at about 3 we begin playing cards and at about 6 this morning I stumbled in the door half asleep and amazed that I made the drive okay....it was an event..that's for sure...we had fun though....
as for now...the wonderful day is calling me!
