Okay , I am now convinced that threads is far better than my other larping. I lost my city but now look like I could be the savior of it.
The oddest part was the villains by doing what they did allowed me to eliminate any threats to my grab for control of the city. It also is clearly the fault of certain people who didn't react to my IC warnings (which seems to be a common issue).
Basically, I lost the city temproarily but I gained the hearts and minds of the populace ...
