Save Our Seeker
Hi All
I know I don't post much but really the only reason I signed up for Livejournal account was to be able to comment on all the wonderful work done by fanfic writers & artists. You guys are all AMAZING.
However as a result of Livejournal I accidentally stumbled across this wonderful little show called Legend of the Seeker via one of the fansites - was bored and decided to watch a clip of that awesome fight scene in episode 2.08, c'mon you know the one and there's been no turning back since!!!
Imagine my dismay at the possible news that the show may be facing cancellation - NOOOOOOOOO :(
Not only am I now the proud owner of season 1 DVD set (I can honestly say they have been rewatched at least twice if not more), the first trilogy of Sword of Truth series (about to start reading), signed up & now have a twitter account (jolo_65 is me if you wanna say hi) so as I can participate a bit in real time with the rest of the fandom & have also pre ordered Season 2 DVD set from Amazon........
So the point of this message is to say a massive THANK YOU and how proud I am of how the LOTS fandom has banded together to try and Save Our Seeker. Everybody has been amazing from all the creative genius out there who have put together this awesome site www.saveourseeker.com/
Managing to raise enough funds to get the advertising space in Variety was just phenominal and so well done.

For all the up to the minute information needed to do what we can to save our seeker
To all the fans on TWITTER who have managed to have either Legend of the Seeker, Save Our Seeker and of course the wonderful & the amazing Bridget Regan to be trending topics you are all amazing and deserve a standing ovation for the courteous but determined manner in which we have gone about this.
It doesn't matter what side of the world we are on everyone has chipped in and made an effort and this cannot be discounted in any way.
With all the time and effort everyone has put into this campaign I am more hopeful than ever of a season 3.
Regardless I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all involved in this campaign.
PS: How awesome was episode 2.20 Eternity??!!!! OMG.... when you have such amazing eps, wonderful actors, great characters (constantly developing) and just awesome storylines I just shake my head and think how can there not be a season 3??
OK whew...I think thats all I'm going to go read some more awesome fic - I noticed that seven_3_oh has updated her amazing Legend of the Seeker o story Cold - if you haven't been following whats wrong with you??? ;-p
