let me just say that I've been playing god for the past few days and I've learned a few very important rules.
1. Only impatient or land greedy gods make war.
This is because it's not evil to take cities after everyone thinks you're great. Care for them, their young, their old, their bodies and their minds.
2. Huge bipedal magical glowing cows doing my bidding, as well as telling me they really live playing with the teddy-bear (approx. size = 5 men) I gave them makes me feel live some candy sweet hindu god.
3. Black and White 2 can bring anyone to nerd orgasm. That's the one were your pants don't get dirty, you realize it's just a game and that doesn't stop the next several days* being devoted to it between classes, studying and homework.
*(chosen as a common denomination of time, not necessarily representative of actual time spent)
As a nerd, I feel I need to share that I absolutely loved Black and White, the original. I replayed that game multitudinous times through. Creature Isle was interesting, but not my schtick. The original quite clearly had a lot of love in it, a lot of originality, creativity and inventiveness. Like most things by artistic hippie types, the gameplay was not so important. It seemed very big-picture or tiny microcosm. Black and White Two, with the help of EA, has an inescapable tutorial of doom made for the lowest comman denomintor. It is really, really dumb. The game completely redeems it, though the old quaint feeling of these, my people seems to be gone forever. There simply haven't been as many stupid little things I could do for random people in need. I miss helping people.
