decisions..decisions..

i finally made the decision to quit college rowing - after much much pondering. it was a  reluctant move but hey, sometimes we cant squeeze everything into our schedule, oui? we train twice a week, 4-6pm. the competition is on every sunday in May, with the final ICC Regatta held on 30th May. (i didnt expect it to be a repetition, thought its just one day). but school workload is getting heavier each day too. and i joined the sg society bball club where we train on sats 10-12pm and the asian uni games is held on one of the weekends in May, which clashes with the rowing comp.

i thought i was able to cope, but it really hit me last week, where it was bball tryouts 9-11am, rowing 4-6pm, and on sunday rowing camp 1-4pm. my weekend just flew past like that. not only that but i my body was really burnt out. i had to drag myself out of bed on mon morning for a 8am tutorial.

so, i realised if i was going to continue on like this . . . my studies would be in jeopardy. i think this is a sad, but rationale decision. sad because this is my one time to experience inter-college rowing (and i had to give it up), rationale because.. well the reason is obvious. alright, no more brooding over it. hello essay !!
