When we took over moderatorship of The Game about two weeks ago, the first thing we wanted to do was advertise and try to get new players! They'd have to be roleplay-driven, there for gaming and gaming alone, and they'd have to be the sort of people that appreciate passionate mods, community-driven (and awesome) plot lines, and people that generally care for one another and take other's needs in mind. While yes, there are tons of RPG AD communities out there, we couldn't help but look back to our past:
We had a ton of people just like that. And they left.
The reasons for people leaving have always been various. Some left due to time constraints, some didn't agree with things that past mods have done to the community. Others had problems with players or characters or maybe they just didn't have a good time. But regardless of rhyme or reason, so many players have left TG for all these reasons that they might just find resolved now.
So we invite you all to take a look around The Game. While it might have not fit you back in the days, it might just be perfect for you now. And if it isn't? You might just find that we're willing to fix those little problems that keep excellent players like you from joining us yet again.
So we can either throw our name out all over advertisement communities or go straight to the characters we love the most.
