(no subject)
So let's see. I haven't updated in so damn long, ahhhhh I don't know where to begin! To start, I guess I should say (even though everyone already knows) that I will be going to U of M next year.....WOO FRIGGIN HOOOOOOO! I was apprehensive about it at first, but after attending orientation and getting my schedule in order, I am rather pumped about it! I even have a lecture 2 times a week with Jackie, so I am doubly pumped about that. However, I still don't have a place to live :( I got my acceptance so late that I couldn't turn the housing thing in till after the may 1st deadline, which means they can't guarantee me housing. And if I do get it, it will most likely be north campus, which is like a 15 min. bus ride from central campus, where all my classes are. HMMPH. But there is still a chance I can get someone elses contract, so everyone keep your fingers crossed for me!!!!!!!!
Other than that everything is pretty much the same. Winter classes are over and I did well..... got the department award for French which my professor said should help me to get scholarships for studying abroad. I'm also taking a spanish class right now, which kinda scary cuz I am the only person who has never taken spanish before (even though it's an intro). But I took it pass/fail so I don't have to worry too much about getting a good grade, even though I will try my best.
Also, sista ho (aka Caroline) just had surgery, so me and Bridget and her bitches for the next month until she gets her sling off. This past saturday I went to the third eye blind concert and got wasted for the first time in a long time. It was fun. There were tons of open seats up at the front of the theatre, and the elad singer pretty much told eveyrone to try and get as close as they could. Of course this was the cue to rush, and I got pushed and jostled until I lost Bobby and my cousins, but was able to make it the very front dead center against the barriers. It was sweet, and I got 2 guitar picks, one from the lead singer dude and one from the guitarist. After the concert we drove to this kids bonfire where I almost killed Caroline (by falling on her shoulder) and myself (by falling face first on the grass... high flip flop sandals are definitly NOT the best idea for drinking and walking). Last night was really nice, my entire family came over and I got to hang out and play DDR with all my little cousins (who are actually sweet at it!). Today is memorial day and I would normally be going out to one of my aunts houses who lives on the lake, but the weather is crappy so boooooo. Probly will just chill here, go on a bike ride (OH!, i got a sweet new bike for nexr year, so if anyone wants to go riding, holla back) and maybe shopping. So I guess that does it for now.....I'm goint to make an attempt to update more like I said I would when school was over, and I hope everyone else does too. Lates!
