I never update my journal anymore.
Well. It's been some days since I wrote in here.
Um... no word on our security deposit stuff... we're still working on it. And we got school figured out - James and I are both paid for and ready to go! Wee! And I bought a car for a day! It was on craigslist and it seemed okay, but then it wasn't, so I took it back. I might be buying another one soonish... I'm not sure. I've never done this grown-up-y stuff.
I auditioned for a part in Little Shop of Horrors! My first audition for anything, ever. I sang Ella Fitzgerald's version of "Our Love Is Here To Stay" and the guy said I had a nice voice quality. I've wanted to be a shoop-shoop doo-wop girl in Little Shop since forever, but never thought I had a chance, since I am not black. Fingers crossed, maybe. I'm not sure if I'm brave enough to do it. But I want to!
Stuff about my wreck! I've been in discussion with some lady from the other person's insurance, and it sounds like it's a 40-60 split in my favor. So I have to get the damage assessed, then they can tell me what %60 would be and I'll get that back. Woot!
I've started at Michaels, and I'm not sure if I like it. It's a little soul killing, but also kinda cool. I don't know. I applied at Books-A-Million, where two of my roomies just got jobs, so we'll see how that goes.
Bridget and Alex moved in with us! :D That's funtimes. I like having my sister around, and Alex is grood times too. We have fun. We watched Firefly, and now we're watching Heroes so that they can watch with us when it starts ON SEPTEMBER 21 OMG IT'S A MONTH AWAY WEEEE <333 I love Heroes. And HIMYM. And Firefly.
I dunno, stuff is sort of looking up. Things have gotten better. We named our kitten Dr. Simon Tam. :D James and I are deeply in love and everything is full of rose petals and swirling fog and red shimmery borders and violin music... and our roommates are still fantastic and fun and I love them.
I want to do crafty things more... and I want to write more. It's nearly time for NaNo again. I need to write a musical. I don't know what I want anymore.
