It's an ILLUSION, Michael!
So apparently there's a massive frickin' brushfire in my town. It was on the Today Show! O_o Myrtle Beach made the first hour, possibly even the first story, of the Today Show! How cool would it be if someone said something ridiculous so that Joel McHale could mention it on The Soup? :D I would be pleased.
But yeah, it's been burning (since the world's been turning) for like, 30 hours or something nonsensical like that. Seriously, it's crazy. There's crazy smoke and ash all over the place, and it's burned like, a couple thousand acres or something... homes have been destroyed. There aren't any injuries or deaths, though, so far. But it's insane.
Also, there was a break-in in my neighborhood a few nights ago and we heard the police chasing the guy. Apparently 3-5 guys broke into someone's house like, a few doors down from us, and shot him. :( He died and it was sad. And also apparently this is the 2nd shooting in our townhouse place in the last six weeks. Awesome.
In other not so terrifying news, I got my license and debit card and all that stuff back. Yaayyy. It didn't even take forever! Woot. And I worked forever, which was annoying, but I have the weekend off, so yay. And then next week is school and then exams, then Bridget comes home, then one more day/exam, and then it's summertime. :D
I saw 17 Again with my mommy today, and it was awesome. I LOVE ZAC EFRON. You guys remember how much I love him? I keep forgetting, and then something happens, like his hair or his face, and I remember how much I love him. :D He's so pretty. Plus, he does that acting thingy. And the dancing! And the singing. :D AND THE PRETTY.
Anywho... yeah. I don't know. I just wanted to alert the world about Myrtle Beach's claim to fame on the Today Show. So far the fire is 40% contained, and people are being evacuated and stuff... hopefully all will be well soon. :( It's very sad.
