Four sweater vests! :D
Well. This week has been not very good up until today, which was fairly good. Monday I woke up late and my car was stupid and things, and yesterday I went to HGTC and there were a million people waiting for the financial aid people and I was angry and sad because I thought I wasn't going to be able to pay on time... and James was all angry 'cause HIS car wouldn't start and stuff. Then we went to the mall and it was fun and Karen said to go back to HGTC today and make them fix it, and I did! And I'm totally in school now! I bought my books and everything.
Basically, since HGTC is a tech school and is only 2 years, the LIFE guy will cover all 4 semesters of it, plus $150 for books (each semester, I think). Also, I got the Pell grant, which I don't even need since LIFE covers all of it, and I only spent like $300 of that on books thanks to LIFE. So I should be getting a check for like, $2000 sometime in February. :D AND the Pell grant will cover any summer classes I choose to take, if I choose to take them, and I think it's renewable every semester? So possibly in the fall I will also be getting a check for a lot of money. ^_^ It pleases me. Even if it doesn't work out that way, I'm still going for free, which is happymaking. And when I get done with Tech, I can transfer wherever and not have to pay as much since I'll already have 2 years done.
So I'm pretty happy. :D I'm fairly excited for all my classes, except the silly computer class, but whatevs. Might as well get it out of the way.
Uuummm... other than that... let's see. Oh! Kelly and Kevin, Bridget and Alex, and James and I all played Rock Band last night for like, four hours. It was pretty awesome. Our band is fairly amazing. It's like Phailsawse reunited, minus four members. (Phailsawse was the epic ten member band we formed at Bridget's/my dad's/my cousin's birthday party in October. IT WAS EPIC.) It was a good deal of fun.
And Dr. Horrible came in the mail yesterday!!! :DDD I love everything about everything.
I wish I could speak seriously about how I feel and not come off all cheesy. >_>
