Kitty concerns - part 3
Well, the most recent vet exam confirmed our worst fears. Pixel (our darling 17+ year old kitten) has Carcinomatosis of the intestine. It's not treatable. She only has a few days.
We knew she was sick, but we hoped there was something we could do to help her pull out of it. Now, the only thing we can do is give her subcutaneous fluids and wait for the end. At this point, we don't know if she'll go in her sleep, or she'll hold on, gradually deteriorating to the point where we have to "help her" one more time... (I can't tell you how much I hate that euphemism...)
She seemed perfectly normal just a few weeks ago.
JM and I are both in shock.
